The idea of a new version for the Oberth Class in your universe which you show here really has great promise. The shape clearly states, in my opinion at least, that this is not a military ship and could well house quite a good amount of scientific equipment for its size.

It small size will also be helpful when it needs to survey or map asteroid fields in which it small frame will be a benefit compared to a bigger ship. 4 or 5 decks looking at the shuttle should be plenty of room for short trips. And would be an ideal follow up vessel after a bigger explorer has done the first scans before moving on to let this ship do her job.

I am not sure if the ship is atmospheric entry capable but I am guessing it is since the engine looks well protected, in case the shields are not working.

Originality wise I give this one a high rating. You don't see many small vessels been designed in the Star Trek extended universe and it being a science vessel is also one of the shipclasses you don't see often.

Technique: great, nothing more needs to be said at this stage. I am aware we are talking about a WIP at the moment and I am certain, looking at your past work, plenty of additional details and advanced textures will be made.

Impact: it is inspirational and certainly worthy of seeing finished when you have the time. Since I do understand you have a few tough months coming up. That being said you have done an excellent job and hope to see more!
